1. Introduction & Platform Services

By login in you accept to receive, notification on whatsapp email text message and calls also agree to make your number and email id visible to recruiters and your profile information to all other users available on syncup. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services. Our platform provides services including candidate profile creation, AI-based job matching, and facilitating job applications and recruiter connections. SyncUp acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not an employer or recruiter, and therefore does not guarantee job placement, interview selection, or employment outcomes.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

By registering on the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided by you is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree not to impersonate any person, create misleading accounts, or provide false information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

3. Recruiter Accounts & Administrative Access

If you join, access, or operate on the platform as a recruiter, employer, hiring manager, or talent acquisition professional, the following specific terms apply:

1. Admin Account Creation & Acceptance upon Login: When a recruiter account is created or provisioned by a SyncUp administrator, the recruiter's subsequent action of logging in, opening, or accessing that account constitutes full and binding acceptance of these Terms & Conditions to join and use SyncUp.
2. Account Access for Bugs & Support: If you are joining as a recruiter, you accept and acknowledge that authorized SyncUp personnel and administrators may open, access, and inspect your recruiter account, workspaces, job postings, candidate pipelines, and related data to investigate defect reports, resolve software bugs, perform technical maintenance, and provide customer or technical support.
3. Data Usage for Learning Purposes: By joining as a recruiter, you accept and agree that your account data, workflows, and platform activity may be used by SyncUp for learning purposes, model training, evaluation, and continuous platform development and quality enhancement.

Recruiters remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and ensuring that all recruitment and hiring activities conducted through their account comply with applicable laws.

4. Profile Visibility & Data Sharing

By signing up and creating a profile, you expressly consent to your profile information, including but not limited to your resume, work experience, skills, and contact details, being visible to recruiters and hiring companies. When you apply to a job through the platform, your information is shared with the respective recruiter or employer. While we take reasonable measures to ensure safe usage of the platform, SyncUp is not responsible for any misuse of your information by third parties.

5. Screening Rounds & Candidate Answers

When you participate in a screening round on SyncUp (including written, recorded, or other question formats presented through the platform), you acknowledge and agree that:

1. Your answers, responses, and related submissions are stored in SyncUp's systems.
2. Recruiters and employers associated with that opportunity (and their authorized reviewers) may access, review, and use those answers later to evaluate your candidacy.
3. Screening content may remain available for the duration of the hiring process and for any retention period we apply for platform operations, dispute handling, or legal compliance, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
4. You are responsible for ensuring that your answers are truthful and your own. Providing false, misleading, or plagiarized screening responses may result in rejection of your application and/or suspension or termination of your account.

SyncUp acts as an intermediary and does not guarantee that any recruiter will review your answers, shortlist you, or offer employment.

6. AI Features, Usage & CV Import

Our platform may use artificial intelligence to provide features such as job matching, candidate ranking, and generation of screening questions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated outputs may not always be correct or complete, and users are encouraged to independently verify such information. You agree not to misuse the platform, including but not limited to uploading fraudulent information, engaging in illegal activities, scraping or copying platform data, or attempting to reverse-engineer any part of the system.

SyncUp may offer a CV Import feature that lets you upload a LinkedIn PDF export, resume, or similar CV file. By using CV Import, you agree that:

1. You will only upload documents that you own or are authorized to use.
2. SyncUp may use artificial intelligence and automated processing to read the uploaded file and pre-fill or update fields on your SyncUp profile (for example name, experience, education, skills, and related information).
3. AI-extracted content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your profile before relying on it for applications or visibility to recruiters.
4. Uploading a CV does not create an employment relationship and does not guarantee improved matching, interviews, or job outcomes.

If you do not want SyncUp to process a document in this way, do not use CV Import; you may continue to complete your profile manually.

7. Education Document Verification

SyncUp may allow you to upload education-related documents such as degree certificates, marksheets, or similar credentials for manual verification. This feature is optional. You are not required to upload documents to create an account or use basic platform features, though some verification-related badges or trust signals may only appear after successful verification.

By uploading such documents, you agree that:

1. All documents you submit are genuine, unaltered, and relate to you (or to a person you are authorized to represent, where applicable).
2. SyncUp (and any authorized reviewers we engage) may inspect these documents for verification purposes.
3. Uploading forged, altered, stolen, or otherwise fraudulent documents is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban of your account, removal of verification status, and any other action permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
4. A "verified" (or similar) badge or indicator on your profile means only that SyncUp has completed its then-current verification checks for the relevant credential(s). It is not a guarantee of academic authenticity beyond our process, an endorsement of your skills or employability, or a warranty to recruiters or employers. Recruiters remain responsible for their own hiring due diligence.
5. SyncUp may revoke verification status if new information suggests a document is invalid, incomplete, or was submitted in violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to the platform, including technology, design, and content, are owned by SyncUp AI Private Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without prior written permission. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncUp shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to job outcomes, recruiter actions, data misuse by third parties, or platform downtime.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time if we detect any violation of these Terms or any fraudulent or harmful activity. Without limiting the above, we may suspend or permanently ban accounts that upload fraudulent education documents, submit false screening answers, or misuse CV Import or verification features.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts of the jurisdiction of Jabalpur Highcourt shall have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Apple App Store

If you download or use SyncUp through the Apple App Store or on an Apple device, the following additional terms apply:

1. These Terms are between you and SyncUp AI Private Limited only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). SyncUp, not Apple, is solely responsible for the SyncUp application and its content.
2. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the app. To the extent support is required under applicable law, SyncUp—not Apple—is responsible for providing it.
3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. Any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are SyncUp's responsibility (subject to these Terms).
4. SyncUp, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the app fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
5. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of the app infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, SyncUp, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim, as required by these Terms.
6. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
7. You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your license of the app, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Your use of the app must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and any applicable App Store usage rules.

11. Google Play

If you download or use SyncUp through Google Play or on an Android device, the following additional terms apply:

1. These Terms are between you and SyncUp AI Private Limited only, not with Google LLC or its affiliates ("Google"). SyncUp, not Google, is solely responsible for the SyncUp application and its content.
2. Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Any support obligations under applicable law are SyncUp's responsibility, not Google's.
3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Google disclaims all warranties with respect to the app. SyncUp remains responsible for any warranties it expressly provides under these Terms or required by law.
4. SyncUp, not Google, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar laws.
5. In the event of any third-party intellectual property claim relating to the app or your use of it, SyncUp—not Google—is responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim as required under these Terms.
6. Your use of the app must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service, Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement (as applicable to end users), and any other Google policies that apply to apps obtained from Google Play.
7. Google is a third-party beneficiary of the provisions in this section that are intended for Google's benefit, and may enforce those provisions against you.

Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction, or rights Google may have under its own agreements with you.
